Grems

My kitten passed away this morning... At least he had people around who loved him when we went :-(  I can't help but feel partially responsible since I couldn't take care of him when I had him in my apartment with Orin, months ago.  I'm pretty sure I'm still in shock... I don't even really know what to think right now.

In other news, Ace's interview apparently went well enough that he's starting work / training Monday.  Not exactly sure what it entails other than paperwork stuff for a bit... I suppose it's another "wait and see" game / situation, as usually happens with the military.

So... I'll wait and see.

I've finished my first week of work, and I couldn't be happier to have back in my life some meaningful work.  I feel productive and helpful and get to learn new things, I can hardly wait for this week :)

Ace should be getting his new job in order too, pretty soon *fingers crossed*  Seems he will be keeping quite busy with training the next few months, so hopefully there will still be some time to sleep.
